Course Objectives To have knowledge about the Turkish music, to give the basic information about Trkish music to the students, traying to understand and combine hte art af Turkisc music and other cultural values, To get to know the important female composers, theoreticians and performers in Turkish music.
Learning Outcomes of the Course
1) Learning basic music knowledge
2) Learning and interpreting common and different characteristics of various music cultures
3) Gaining knowledge about the history of Turkish music
4) Introducing the important female names that contributed to Turkish music
Course Content Basic knowledge of Turkish music, the history of Turkish music, the ,nfluence of music on social development, the introduction of female artists of Turkish music.
